Job Title: Senior Recruitment Consultant
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Salary: Basic salary + bonus (Monthly Team Target, Monthly Individual Desk Commission and Individual Quarterly Commission)
Working Hours Monday to Thurs 8.30am to 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Following the success of our business and growth plan, Fresh Recruits are pleased to announce that we are expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join us on the next phase of our journey.
You need to be an experienced Recruitment Consultant to be considered for this role with previous experience in a Commercial Recruitment Agency and excellent knowledge of the local area.
Applications will be totally confidential and we can certainly speak or meet out of office hours if that is more convenient for you.
We use all of the major job boards, and have access to their candidate database’s as well as a 100’s of job credits with each one (Reed, Total Jobs, CV Library and Monster). I know we are one of the only agencies in Bournemouth who use all of the job boards, another big difference at Fresh Recruits is that each consultant has a dedicated Linkedin Recruiter licence which gives us the edge in finding those candidates who aren’t on the job boards.
We don’t work to KPI’s and we’re not targeted on new business so this isn’t a sales role – we’re very different to a lot of agencies in that respect. We have an extremely well established client base across both corporate and SME clients, hence the need for more Consultants, we need more hands on deck to service the steady stream of new vacancies that come in each week. Each consultant has a monthly revenue target to work too, and that’s the extent of the targets, no micro management or call targets, we just focus on doing a good job, and our clients come back to us time and time again!

·Building effective relationships with your candidates, understanding their needs and discussing relevant roles with them
·Fully understanding your clients requirements and matching suitable candidates accordingly
·Maintain an honest and effective relationship with your clients, we like to be seen as a recruitment partner rather than an agency who are constantly pestering them for business
·Work closely with your Recruitment Co-ordinator who will provide administrative support to your desk
·Attending client meetings as and when required
·Agreeing Terms & Conditions of Business with clients
·Account Managing selected clients and being the main point of contact for them
·Coaching your candidates in terms of their CV and interview preparation
·Ability to multi-task due to the large volume and variety of roles we recruit for
·Learn and understand each role – this will take time due to the vast selection of area’s we recruit in
·Able to work as part of a team, supporting each other in providing the best service possible
·Maintaining an organised and effective candidate desk
·Able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle lots of vacancies & candidates
·Effective resourcing on job boards and make full use of your dedicated Linkedin recruiter licence.
·Have a good sense of humour, we work very hard but have a relaxed office environment and work as a team.
·28 days holiday for the first holiday year of employment (inc Bank hols), increasing to 30 days in year 2, then increasing 1 day per holiday year completed up to a maximum of 35 days per annum
·Christmas shutdown – the office is closed for approx.10 days between Christmas & New Year
·Simply Health Scheme which covers Dental, Optical and some medical expenses (eligible after probation period of 6 months has been successfully completed)
·Sick Pay (max 2 weeks per 12 month period) eligible after probation has been completed
·Commission (desk target & team target) – paid Monthly in arrears on hitting desk targets
·Membership of the NEST pension scheme is offered after an initial postponement of 3-months
·Team days out every 6 months, West End show or similar.
