Job Title: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Working Hours: Monday to Thurs 8.30am to 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Following the success of our business and growth plan, Fresh Recruits are pleased to announce that we are expanding our team and are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join us on the next phase of our journey.
To be considered for this role you need to have a proven track record in Customer Service, you might currently be working in Sales and looking for more of an Account Management role.
We don’t work to KPI’s and we’re not targeted on new business so this isn’t a sales role – we’re very different to a lot of agencies in that respect. We have an extremely well established client base across both corporate and SME clients, hence the need for more Consultants, we need more hands on deck to service the steady stream of new vacancies that come in each week. Each consultant has a monthly revenue target to work too, and that’s the extent of the targets, no micro management or call targets, we just focus on doing a good job, and our clients come back to us time and time again!
Key skills needed for this role are:
·Proven track record in a customer focused environment, either B2C or B2B
·Strong communication skills
·High level of attention to detail and have an organised approach to work
·Good working knowledge of MS office and CRM
·Fluent in written and spoken English

Established in 2002, we have a wide range of clients spanning numerous industries, and are in the lucky position where we don’t have to chase new business as clients come to us.
·Building effective relationships with your candidates, understanding their needs and discussing relevant roles with them
·Fully understanding your clients requirements and matching suitable candidates accordingly
·Effective candidate resourcing across all job boards and Linkedin
·Maintain an honest and effective relationship with your candidates and clients, we like to be seen as a recruitment partner rather than an agency who are constantly pestering clients for business
·Coaching your candidates in terms of their CV and interview preparation
·Ability to multi-task due to the large volume and variety of roles we recruit for
·Learn and understand each role – this will take time due to the vast selection of area’s we recruit in
·Able to work as part of a team, supporting each other in providing the best service possible
·Maintain an organised and effective candidate desk
·Able to work in a fast paced environment and high volumes of vacancies & candidates
·Have a good sense of humour, we work very hard but have a relaxed office environment and work as a team.
·Work closely with the Branch Administrators and Recruitment Co-ordinators to maximise efficiency on your desk
·28 days holiday for the first holiday year of employment (inc Bank hols), increasing to 30 days in year 2, then increasing 1 day per holiday year completed up to a maximum of 35 days per annum
·Christmas shutdown – the office is closed for approx.10 days between Christmas & New Year
·Simply Health Scheme which covers Dental, Optical and some medical expenses (eligible after probation period of 6 months has been successfully completed)
·Sick Pay (max 2 weeks per 12 month period) eligible after probation has been completed
·Commission (desk target & team target) – paid Monthly in arrears on hitting desk targets
·Membership of the NEST pension scheme is offered after an initial postponement of 3-months
·Team days out every 6 months, West End show or similar.
